Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Tampa (Brandon area), FL (On-Site)
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- The Staff Accountant will assist with daily accounting operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and post general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- The Staff Accountant will help generate financial reports for management review
- Assist with AP/AR functions as needed
- Participate in audits by providing supporting documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or part-time roles welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus (Quick Books, Net Suite, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting team
