About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's growing finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with daily financial operations, and the professionalism to collaborate effectively across departments. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to accurate financial reporting and smooth month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
- Manage billing, invoicing, and payment posting
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and resolve related inquiries
- Help maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in accounting or similar roles
- Proficient in Net Suite and Quick Books
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills—professional, personable, and team-oriented
