Senior Accounting Consultant

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare month-end close documentation, including accounting notes and supporting schedules.
• Perform highly analytical accounting tasks and independently manage deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Support client audits, including procedural and compliance‑related audits.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects, which will represent a significant portion of the role.
• Adapt to a fast‑changing environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required).
• CPA designation preferred.
• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, operating at a senior or manager level without direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work independently as a self‑starter.
• Experience with Connect Wise and Intacct strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a chaotic environment with an unpredictable schedule.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
