Our client, a well-established company in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial management and compliance across multiple projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare and process pay applications and AIA billing accurately and on schedule.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection.
- Handle lien waivers and maintain compliance with project requirements.
- Perform notary duties for required documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and adhere to company and industry standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction accounting or billing.
- Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien waivers, and pay applications
. - Notary Public preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction accounting systems (experience with industry-standard platforms is a plus).
