Accounting Manager - TAMPA

CPA is strongly preferred

• Salary - $120,000 - $130,000
• CPA is strongly preferred
• 6+ years of experience
• In office (easy location to commute on West Side of Tampa

• Assist the controller in overseeing the accounting department, ensuring proper accounting practices and timely closing of books.
• Month end close, G/L, journal Entries, Bank Rec's and Financial Reporting
• Support audit processes, both internal and external, by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Manage a team of 3
• Produces and manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses.
• Assists with management of accounting, auditing and budgeting within the organization.
• Perform as a key resource in the month end close process.
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Participate in process improvement projects within the finance team.
• Reports to Controller

• BS in Accounting, CPA is a bonus
• 6-7 years of Accounting and Finance experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications.
