Remote Role - High Net Worth Tax Manager

Base pay: $130,000 – $250,000 per year.

This is a remote role hosted by Emily Bohanon for a full-service CPA and advisory firm with a national footprint and three offices on the West and East Coasts. The firm provides sophisticated tax, accounting, and advisory services to high‑net‑worth individuals, families, closely held businesses, and investment entities.

• 5+ years of tax management experience (over 50 % review)
• CPA
• Experience with high‑net‑worth and ultra high‑net‑worth clients

• Review tax returns while assuming primary responsibility for client engagements, including scheduling, staffing, timing, and workflow management.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, proactively locating problem areas and resolving them with minimal oversight.
• Manage, supervise, and mentor staff, providing technical guidance, coaching, and professional development mentorship.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Complete semi‑annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing employee performance.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, high‑touch client service, and collaboration with partners to pursue new business.
• Continuously enhance technical knowledge by attending training and development courses, and seek opportunities to deepen expertise in the firm’s focus industries.
• Support additional projects and initiatives as needed.
