We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of properties, with a focus on providing top-notch accounting services to our clients. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting and a strong understanding of GL, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.

• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of properties.
• Performing account reconciliations and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Executing month-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
• Collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assisting with audits and providing necessary information to external auditors.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting.
• Proficiency in GL, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
