Bookkeeper - Veteran

Company Description

We are a strong and stable service company with over 15M in revenue seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. Our company operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a detail-oriented individual who is well-versed in Quick Books.

As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
• Process payroll and maintain employee records
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns
• Maintain accurate financial records, including the general ledger and financial statements
• Provide regular financial reports to management
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts
• Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a service-based company
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented and able to identify errors and discrepancies in financial records
• Familiarity with GAAP and other accounting principles

The salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
