Accounting Manager – Tampa, FL

Accounting Manager – Tampa, FL – $150K We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join a manufacturing client with a growing finance team onsite in South Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles. This company will be launching a new roll out of ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision. This person will be the key liaison between the regional Accounting team and all overseas divisions as well as leading teams.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.
• Familiar with international accounting & tax practice
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the company’s general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Manage monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, including budget variance analysis.
• Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
• Recruit and develop Accounting talents
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• 2-5 years of accounting managerial experience
• Must be proficient with ERP applications including Netsuite, Quickbooks, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
• CPA, or CMA is a must have
• Ability to speak Mandarin/Spanish is nice to have
