Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant will support our client's accounting operations. They will assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role involves preparing financial statements, conducting account reconciliations, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial data by maintaining a detailed and organized approach to data entry.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this position.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Utilize Microsoft platforms and various ERP systems for accounting functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support overall financial goals.
- Participate in month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and system implementations.
- Assist with billing tasks during high‑volume periods.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 1‑2 years’ work experience.
- Experience with at least one ERP.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Familiarity with RPA is considered a plus.
- The position is in office. Hybrid work arrangements may be available after six months of employment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in organizing and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
