Position Summary

As a Billing Specialist, you will assist in the billing processes, working closely with team members across departments and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be critical in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our billing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, review, and send up to 150 invoices per month to clients.
  • Verify billing data accuracy and revise errors.
  • Maintain records of invoices and transactions.
  • Reconcile client accounts regularly.
  • Address discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
  • Ensure payments are correctly posted.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, and client service teams.
  • Respond to client inquiries professionally.
  • Track pending issues and work with departments for corrections.
  • Assist with invoice corrections as needed.
  • Work with collections to ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience reviewing contracts and client orders.
  • Experience in high-volume environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic MS Office skills; experience with Net Suite preferred.
  • Ability to identify process improvements.
  • Effective communication skills.
