Our client, a leading name in international freight forwarding, is expanding their Stockport team and is on the lookout for talented Multi Modal Customs Export Operator.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, friendly team ensuring the smooth movement of consignments across borders—delivering excellence in compliance, communication, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Manage the full import/export process from start to finish.
 
* Provide quotations, handle bookings, and liaise directly with customers and EU agents.
 
* Oversee customs clearance and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
 
* Book deliveries with shipping lines and/or merchant hauliers.
 
* Handle invoicing, duty, and VAT procedures efficiently.
 
* Track shipments and provide proactive updates to clients.
What We’re Looking For

* Export LCL / FCL export pricing – carriers, co-loaders, hauliers, overseas agency

* Export booking procedure with carriers / hauliers

* Export regulations / documentation – incoterms, export docs experience.

* Systems – Destin8, CNS, carrier portals, FCL (bonus, not necessary).
 
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
 
* A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
 
* Pricing / input bookings & general operations.
