Operations Manager

Overview

An Industry leading manufacturing company requires an energetic hands-on Operations Manager to support and report directly to the Managing Director in co-ordinating the factory production teams and providing full compliance responsibility.

This is a varied role where you will oversee the day-to-day operations, drive process improvements while also supporting the production administration.

• Forecasting / recording / resourcing of materials.
• QC Management – carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
• Driving standards and monitoring quality controls.
• Oversee induction, training of new personnel and coordinate training throughout the operation.
• Hands on involvement in the production facility to support the day to day running.

• Responsibility for health and safety throughout the operation.
• Plan / carry out an annual programme for internal and external audits.
• Managing servicing and maintenance.

• Health and Safety experience IOSH minimum.
• Ideally previous experience within a production environment.
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others and link departments.
• Highly organised with strong administrative and negotiation skills.
