About this jobThe applicant must be capable of conducting daily worship ceremonies in a Hindu temple.
The role requires a sound knowledge of Hinduism and practical experience in Hindu religious practices.
The individual must be able to perform religious rites and rituals and attend to the deities in accordance with established traditions.
Responsibilities include the upkeep of the shrine housing various deities, changing the attire of the deities, and carrying out other priestly duties as directed by the temple management.
The applicant must also be able to prepare food for religious offerings (prasadam). The role requires knowledge of Hindu festivals and the ability to organise and conduct related celebrations.
Knowledge of Sanskrit is essential, along with the ability to speak Gujarati and English.
This position is for a Religious Worker in a non-pastoral role.
