Looking to work in an energetic and welcoming Urgent & Emergency care setting in one of the most multicultural and energetic cities in the country and getting to explore your special interest at the same time? Then look no further as this is the perfect job for you! We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and motivated Urgent & Emergency Care Team.

Working across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) & Integrated Assessment Unit (IAU) with direct shop floor supervision from our Consultants and middle grade teams. The post offers protected weekly departmental teaching and benefits from educational supervision by a consultant as well as many other educational opportunities. Working hours across AMU/IAU are predominately between 08.00 - 18.00 and will cover 7 days per week on a rolling rota with the expectation of working a 1 in 4 weekend.

Should the need arise you may be asked to work within the Same Day Emergency Care Unit or the Emergency Department as these areas fall within the Urgent & Emergency Care directorate.

  • Providing direct clinical care to all patients
  • Formulate a diagnosis and develop a management strategy or plan for each patient
  • Provide patient management in accordance with in accordance with national guidelines, protocols, practice standards and Trust policies
  • Provide clear and precise written and electronic documentation of patient care
  • Participate in the current shift rota pattern
  • Participate and lead on clinical audits
