Healthcare Assistant - Ward 30 HCU
Band 2
Permanent - 33.75 Hours a week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Health Care Assistant to join the team on Ward 30 HCU at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust. Ward 30 HCU is a 20 bedded unit comprising of patients with cardiac related conditions. The post holder will work under the direct supervision of a registered health care professional and assist the healthcare team with personal care delivery of a defined group of patients and a range of clinical duties/tasks, always ensuring that actions taken are undertaken by the individual following appropriate training and within their sphere of competence.
Duties include a combination of days, nights and weekends in order to meet the needs of our patients and ensure we provide a fair and equal working environment for the whole team.
- Band 2 Health Care Assistant role with induction provided, including ward orientation.
- Ability to work across a mix of shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- We are looking for individuals committed to delivering an excellent, caring service to patients.
- The post holder must have the right to work in the UK or be eligible to work.

This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.
