15 hours per week – flexibility around working pattern
Willow Wood Hospice is an adult hospice providing a wide range of support to patients and their families. Its Family Support Service works with all age groups, offering individual, family and group counselling and support.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time counsellor to join our Family Support Team and provide life limiting illness / bereavement counselling and support to patients, their families, friends and carers.
The successful candidate must possess, as a minimum, an accredited L4 Counselling Qualification, as well as be registered with a relevant professional body, such as BACP, NCPS, PTUK, UKCP, BPS.
You will be working with individuals living with a palliative diagnosis, those close to them, and bereaved individuals. You would also support the team in the day to day running of the family support service, and the wider family support offer, including supporting groups, drop in’s and community engagement projects.
This role is for 15 hours a week with flexibility around working patterns depending on individual and to fit the needs of the service.
