Overview
Rotational Physiotherapist - Band 5 - 37.5 hours - Permanent.
This position requires travel between diverse clinical and non-clinical environments and bases, including patients' homes, GP clinics, primary care facilities, community centres, hospitals, office spaces and residential/nursing homes. Access to reliable transport is essential. The post holder will commonly transport bulky and/or heavy equipment.
The post holder will complete four individual AM and four individual PM clinical contacts daily, at separate addresses, to maintain provision of services.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to patients in a variety of community settings including Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Inpatient Intermediate Care, Integrated Urgent Care Team (IUCT), Community Physiotherapy and Community Neuro Rehab Team.
- Undertake assessment, diagnosis and formulation of physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Rotate between the inpatient rehabilitation service at the Stamford Unit, the Community Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy team, the Integrated Urgent Crisis Team, the Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team and MSK outpatient clinics.
- Work in roles across our band 5 community rotations, with potential weekend, late/early shifts and bank holidays as some services operate a 7-day service.
You will need a BSc/MSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy and professional registration with the HCPC, or be an undergraduate student nearing course completion.
