You will work as an integral member of the day-to-day GP clinical team
, providing high-quality, patient-centred care across the practice and in the community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing same-day and routine GP clinics
• Undertaking home visits for acute and chronic presentations
• Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of conditions within your scope of practice
• Working autonomously while collaborating closely with GPs, nurses, and the wider MDT
• Contributing to safe, effective care delivery using EMIS and digital systems

• Assess and manage acute patients
• Assess and manage follow up patients
• Develop skills to manage chronic patients (training provided)

• Support available onsite – Partners and salaried GP
• Home visits covered by PCN

Scope & Skills (Current or Developing)

We welcome applicants with existing skills or a strong desire to develop in the following areas:

• Assessment and management of children of all ages
• Prescribing (or willingness to undertake training)
• Mental health consultations
• Long-term condition management
• Acute presentations in primary care

Development Opportunity: Paramedics who are not yet prescribers will be supported to undertake the prescribing course
, alongside mentorship and clinical supervision.

• Registered Paramedic (HCPC)
• Experience in autonomous clinical decision-making
• Excellent communication and patient-focused approach
• Keen interest in primary care
• Commitment to learning, development, and reflective practice
• Primary care or GP practice experience
• Experience with EMIS or similar clinical systems
• Confidence in home visits and complex presentations

£44,000 to £47,000 a year, dependent on experience
