About the Role
The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Pastoral and Intervention Coordinator (NJC points 31‑34). This is a full‑time permanent position at Thomas Ashton School (Lower), Lumb Lane, Audenshaw, M34 5SF
. The post commences ASAP and is 36 hours 40 minutes per week, 200 days per year. The role involves leading a wider pastoral team, coordinating intervention across the school, and contributing to a long‑term legacy that will change lives for years to come.
- Help shape and refine our spaces to create bespoke environments for meaningful intervention
- Design and manage a personalised intervention system that clearly demonstrates impact

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, references will be sought prior to interview and proof of right to work in the UK. It will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The post will also be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of right to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996.
