Tempest Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Audenshaw to recruit a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
The Role:- Full-time position supporting primary-aged students with SEMH and challenging behaviours
- Implementing and following positive behaviour strategies to help pupils engage and thrive
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide consistent, structured support
- Proven experience supporting primary pupils with SEMH/challenging behaviour
- DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Team Teach training beneficial but not essential
- Calm, patient and resilient approach with a genuine passion for SEMH support
Offer:
- 89- 95 per day
- Full-time, long-term role
