Procurement Coordinator

Location: Tamarac, FL
Salary Range: $55,000 – $58,000

What You’ll Do as a Procurement Coordinator
  • Assist with full procurement lifecycle activities, including preparing and issuing RFPs, ITBs, and bids.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate vendor proposals to ensure compliance and value.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and tracking systems.
  • Support contract management efforts for construction, professional services, and franchise agreements.
  • Monitor vendor deliverables, timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct research and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and process improvements.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to procurement policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in government, construction, or professional services procurement highly desirable.
  • Procurement certifications such as CPPO or CPPB are a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to support community‑impacting initiatives.
