American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Diabetes Medical Care Unit (DMCU) position at a Level 2 Trauma, 772-bed hospital in Tallahassee, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a FL or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in an 18-bed Diabetes Medical Care Unit (DMCU) within a 772-bed hospital,

• Level 2 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center designations,

• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6,

• 12-hour night shifts,

• 13-week contract,

• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required,

• BLS certification required,

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical Med/Surg nursing experience required,

• 2 professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration,

• Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Orientation is held every Monday,

• Local candidates are accepted, excluding those with a permanent address in Tallahassee,

• Limited RTO will be considered (4 days or fewer),

• An IVS (virtual) interview is required as part of the hiring process,
