Emergency Room Nurse/ FSED / Acute Care

Job Responsibilities
Under general direction, provides nursing care in collaboration with the patients and serves as a resource person for staff; evaluates patients' qualifications for clinical research studies; presents lectures, seminars, programs, or conferences; responsible for collaboration, facilitation, and implementation of research projects; provides direct clinical service to patients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, supportive therapy, behavior modification, care management, and patient education.

We are a 266-bed, acute-care hospital that offers 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties including; a Pediatric ER, and an Express Care ER. Offerings also include a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Burn Clinic, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedic/Spine Center, Physical Therapy Services, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and more.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Critical care.acute care experience preferred
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- TNCC and CEN/ENPC preferred
- License:
Currently licensed in the state - Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
