HCA Florida Capital Hospital is a 266-bed acute-care hospital that has been serving the Big Bend community for more than 40 years. We offer 24/7 Emergency Services including a Pediatric ER, Senior Care ER and an Express Care ER. Our offerings also include a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedic Center, Physical Therapy Services, Sleep Center, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and more.
In 2023, we added a 10-bed, Level 2 NICU to provide families with greater access to intensive care for made it easier for sick or premature infants.
We are a fully-accredited healthcare facility with more than 1,100 employees and 500 physicians. We're located in Tallahassee, which is Florida's capital city where you can find natural beauty, historical sites, and year round events.
