Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $29.00/hr

Apalachee Center helps individuals and families in North Florida recover from emotional, psychiatric, and substance abuse crises. We provide comprehensive behavioral health services across 8 counties:
Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla.

Deliver nursing care by applying current nursing principles and techniques. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering prescribed medications, assisting physicians, providing assessments, monitoring, education, crisis intervention, and maintaining patient records. Nursing assessments are completed under the supervision of an RN.

• Complete pre-admission nursing assessments as requested, ensuring documentation and review by RN, and incorporate findings into care plans.
• Implement physician orders, conduct “read back” procedures, and document care according to standards.
• Monitor and assess patients continuously, notify physicians of changes, and document care progress.
• Administer medications accurately, verify patient identity, maintain medication records, and oversee medication room procedures.

Monday through Friday, 11:30pm-8am; rotating schedule, 7:30am-8:00pm;
Saturday and Sunday, 7:30am-8:00pm and 7:30pm-8:00am.
