Purchasing/Accounts Payable ERP Resource
- Supporting the State Project team with key activities as requested.
- Assisting with the implementation of the purchasing and accounts payable modules to ensure accurate budgetary impacts are recorded and accurate payments are generated and reported, including integration with other People Soft modules (e.g., the general ledger).
- Assisting with data mapping and other activities to assist agencies transition from the legacy financial reporting solution to Florida PALM.
- Developing complex People Soft queries to business needs.
- Assisting support integration with other business and enterprise systems.
- Assisting with testing activities.
- Assisting the Department with other responsibilities as requested.
- Complete knowledge transfer and training activities to the identified parties, as directed by the Department's Contract Manager or delegate.
- Provide overall Project support, which includes:
- Providing updates to Project status reporting;
Coordinating with the Project Directors and Architects to develop and update templates for Project use;
Facilitating meetings, promoting teamwork, and providing training as requested;
Tracking, mitigating, and escalating risks and issues;
Maintaining tools for the Project team's use;
Researching, collecting, evaluating, and refining the data and tools necessary to meet Project goals. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Department's Contract Manager, and/or their delegate.
- Complete transition services, including facilitating lessons-learned meetings; creating a lessons-learned document related to ERP support services; and providing all the documents, software, software licenses, and other Project artifacts to the Project team.
Purchasing/Accounts Payable Resource:
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience completing or supporting implementation of purchase order (PO) and accounts payable (AP) modules within a People Soft system, for a governmental agency.
- Experience adapting People Soft PO/AP module functionality to support unique needs of a governmental agency.
- Experience developing complex queries within People Soft to support data analysis and reporting.
- Experience integrating People Soft with other large ERP applications.
- Experience working with the State or with other governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Visio and MS Project.
- Experience implementing People Soft in local and state government Knowledge of People Tools 8.59+ and fluid page development. Experience using People Soft Financials, Human Capital Management (HCM), and associated Business Intelligence Reporting Solutions and ADW.
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), data modeling certifications or other related professional certifications.
