Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse - Neuro Unit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to join our Neuro Unit. We need a compassionate and
reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient-centered
care model. In this role, you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage
treatment autonomously. You will be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each
other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

Salary Range:

• $27.72 - $33 per hour (1-5 years of experience)
• $36.30 per hour (10 years of experience)
• $39.60 per hour (15+ years of experience)

Shift Differentials: $3 for nights and $2 for weekends
Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $20,000 (case-by-case basis)
Relocation Assistance:
Case-by-case basis

Requirements:

• 1 year of acute care RN experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing patients andtheir families with support throughout their stay

Shifts Available:

• Days (7 AM - 7 PM) with rotating weekends
• Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends

Patient Ratio: 1:5 - 1:6
