The Senior Technician performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optics areas by constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems. The Senior Technician works with engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions while operating the related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. The Senior Technician performs calibration and alignment checks;
makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Perform technical task as assigned by supervisor.
- Build engineering prototypes.
- Build test boxes.
- Order parts.
- Maintain and update technical data packages.
- Run qualification and validation testing.
- Train other ESA personnel.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Associate's degree is required
- Specific Degree Field
Required:
Electronics Technology or related. - Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
- ESD
- Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department
- Associate in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
- Working knowledge of Ohm’s law, AC & DC theory.
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
- Logical troubleshooting and debug skills.
- Ability to make analytical decisions.
