Qualifications
Education/Training (one of the following):
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved postgraduate training program in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics OR
Completion of ≥1 year in an approved postgraduate program in a primary care specialty (with residency director approval) OR
One year postgraduate training plus two years of active primary care practice.
Licensure/
Certifications:
OBNDD with CNHS address (required)
Oklahoma DEA with CNHS address (or ability to obtain)
BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
Experience:
Pediatric experience (required)
Emergency Department experience preferred (recent grads with ED rotations considered)
Prior locums experience with Cerner EMR and ED workflow preferred
Skills:
Flexibility to cover 13+ shifts per month (days/nights/weekends)
Ability to manage ED overflow patients safely & efficiently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Setting: 17-bed Emergency Department
Patient Ratio: 1:6 or fewer
Collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment focused on high-quality patient care
Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Physician Assistant to provide backfill and ED overflow coverage
