Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum opportunity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This is a great assignment for providers who enjoy a fast-paced ED with strong specialty backup and a collaborative team environment.

Tahlequah, Oklahoma

• Start Date: March 23, 2026

• End Date: June 20, 2026

• Shift Length: 12 hours

• Shifts per Week: 3

• Shift Types: Mix of days & nights

  • Days: 7a 7p, 8 8

  • Nights: 7p 7a

• Must be flexible for nights, weekends & holidays

• High-volume ED & UC: + patients/day (combined)

• 33 total beds:

  • 13 ED

  • 20 ER/Observation

• Coverage: Double physician coverage

• Patients per hour: 2.5 3.0

• Typical ED acuity

• EMR: Cerner

• 24/7 Pediatrics & Hospitalist in-house

• Ortho, STEMI call, ENT, Podiatry, Nephrology (no inpatient dialysis)

• OB and Behavioral Health coverage available

• MD/DO with Oklahoma license (or active IMLC to start)

• Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible (preferred)

• Family Medicine boarded physicians with solid ED experience considered

• Minimum 2 years ED or Urgent Care experience

• Comfortable treating all ages

• ACLS, BLS, PALS required

• Clean background and strong clinical skills

• Updated Resume / CV

• OK Medical License

• BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Driver s License or Passport

• DEA

• Board Certification

• OIG & SAM reports

• HCP Questionnaire (attached)
