Law firm with offices throughout central and southern California is looking for a Business Lawyer in Kern County. Salary $175,000 – $250,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has a strong background in litigation. You will work on a variety of challenging cases, providing comprehensive legal advice to our clients and contributing to the overall growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in court and argue on their behalf.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on rights and obligations.
- Develop litigation strategies and negotiate with opposing parties.
- Collaborate closely with the legal team to handle complex issues and cases.
- Stay abreast of current legislation and legal developments affecting clients.
- Provide sound legal advice on business matters such as corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and risk management.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of business litigation experience.
- Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven track record of representing clients in complex litigation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Professionalism and adherence to legal ethical standards.
- Capacity to manage multiple cases and projects with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
