We are seeking a customer‑obsessed Product Manager to take ownership of the Autoscribe Matrix‑Gemini product and drive its success. In this role, you will act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and technology, ensuring the product balances client requirements, business priorities, and technical constraints while staying aligned with our strategic outlook. This is a hands‑on, product role, ideal for someone with deep product management experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and the life sciences industry who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation, and delivering measurable value.
Responsibilities- Subject matter expert on Autoscribe Matrix Gemini serving Instem’s customer base.
- Interpret market needs, track industry trends, and identify cost‑effective, user‑friendly approaches to meet those requirements.
- Break down complex product requirements into actionable user stories and tasks for engineering teams and lead design discussions to ensure features are clearly understood and feasible.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure thorough understanding of technical, regulatory, and risk considerations.
- Facilitate alignment between product vision and technical implementation ensuring roadmaps are realistic and achievable.
- Continuously prioritize features and tasks based on business needs, stakeholder input, and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and ensure product features meet business goals.
- Work closely with operations and customer‑facing teams to ensure smooth product rollout, monitor user feedback, and address any post‑launch issues.
- Develop and maintain a financial model for the product that demonstrates its commercial value and revenues over the long term.
- Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure work is handled securely, professionally, and diligently.
- Strong knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and life sciences industry experience.
- A seasoned product manager experienced with technology‑powered products, managing the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Strong prioritization skills, balancing short‑term gains with long‑term strategies to build product backlogs aligned with business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development processes, technologies (e.g., AI, APIs, cloud platforms), and technical requirements.
- Skilled at collaborating with and influencing both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience planning and coordinating product releases and managing timelines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
