Between Network Teachers and our schools, we will provide online teaching assistant training. Experienced teaching assistants and/or recent graduates? Network Teachers has you covered for January or February 2026. Ready to embark on an exciting journey in working as a teaching assistant in education? Network Teachers are looking for enthusiastic individuals and graduates to step into flexible teaching assistant roles in secondary schools across Croydon.
Dive in and help shape young minds as a teaching assistant!
- Assisting classroom activities with students
- Making sure students focus on the assignments given by a permanent member of staff/department at the school
- Facilitating the completion of low level tasks by clearly conveying instructions to the students
- Ensuring that all necessary materials for the lesson are prepared and accessible as a teaching assistant
- Maintaining student conduct during lessons to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
- Gathering finished teaching assistant assignments at the end of the session and submitting them to the relevant person at the school
- Great time-keeping, can arrive to school on time, self-assured, well-organised, and tactful
- Willing to undertake online teaching assistant training
