Job Title:
Autism Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time and Part Time
Start Date: Immediate
GSL Education are seeking an experienced Autism Support Teaching Assistant to work with pupils on the autism spectrum.
About the SchoolThe school provides structured support for pupils with ASD and promotes consistent routines and tailored learning approaches.
Responsibilities- Use visual aids and structured approaches
- Support communication and social development
- Work alongside SENCO and teaching staff
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD
- Understanding of autism strategies
- Patient and proactive approach
- DBS on the update service or willing to apply
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
