OverviewSalary Range: $17.13 - $17.13 Hourly
Position Type: Part Time
This position supports St. Leo Parish and Food Connection mission statements through all phases of work at the St. Leo Food Connection. The position promises to help support and maintain a respectful, friendly, cooperative environment where all who participate are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Drives for food pick-ups and mobile food bank programs
- Follow schedule set out by Driver Coordinator and Warehouse Coordinator to ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, and occasional food pick-ups are completed on time.
- Supervise and assist with loading and unloading Food Connection vehicles.
- Maintain accurate food pick-up logs.
- Drive for Satellite Food Bank operations as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Consistently demonstrate respectful, friendly demeanor and maintain working relationships with all staff and volunteers.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Prefer Washington State Driver’s License and ability to drive cargo vans and larger box trucks.
- Must have valid Washin gton State Driver license and provide other documentation consistent with HR 16 of the Parish Human Resource Manual of the Archdiocese of Seattle to qualify as a driver.
- Available for scheduled work Monday – Saturday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
