Delivery Specialist at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Compensation: $17.13 – $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums and other circumstances as stated.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicles clean, well‑maintained, and complete pre‑operation inspections.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected funds at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, core, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles locked and secured at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out in accordance with company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in stock orders, and other tasks.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business requires.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point system.
• Legal state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
• Experience operating light store equipment (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired (desired).
