PCR/Lemay is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Diesel Mechanic in Frederickson, WA
, to support our heavy‑duty truck and trailer maintenance teams. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, CDL premium, swing‑shift differential, and a $5,000 stay‑on bonus.
- Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $36.00/hour
- CDL Premium: Additional $1.00/hour for Class A or B CDL holders
- Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour for swing shift
- Stay‑On Bonus: $5,000

- Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Overtime: Average 8–10 hours/week; paid at 1.5×
- Shift: Swing shift with differential applied
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks/trailers
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Use diagnostic tools and software (Cummins Insite, Davie‑4, Allison DOC)
- Perform DOT and OSHA‑compliant safety inspections
- Execute MIG welding and basic fabrication tasks
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repair quality/performance
- Record repairs, parts, and hours using fleet maintenance software
- Review and act on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Communicate repairs and issues effectively with drivers and supervisors
- Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years heavy truck/diesel mechanic experience
- Intermediate proficiency with diagnostic tools and software
- Valid Driver’s License;
Class B CDL preferred (or obtain within 90 days) - Welding experience (MIG) preferred
- Solid understanding of DOT, OSHA, and vehicle safety standards
- Ability to read and apply service and technical documentation
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Own basic mechanic tool set
