PCR/Lemay is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Diesel Mechanic in Frederickson, WA
, to support our heavy‑duty truck and trailer maintenance teams. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, CDL premium, swing‑shift differential, and a $5,000 stay‑on bonus.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $35.00 – $36.00/hour
  • CDL Premium: Additional $1.00/hour for Class A or B CDL holders
  • Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour for swing shift
  • Stay‑On Bonus: $5,000

Schedule & Overtime
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Overtime: Average 8–10 hours/week; paid at 1.5×
  • Shift: Swing shift with differential applied
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks/trailers
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
  • Use diagnostic tools and software (Cummins Insite, Davie‑4, Allison DOC)
  • Perform DOT and OSHA‑compliant safety inspections
  • Execute MIG welding and basic fabrication tasks
  • Test drive vehicles to confirm repair quality/performance
  • Record repairs, parts, and hours using fleet maintenance software
  • Review and act on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Communicate repairs and issues effectively with drivers and supervisors
  • Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years heavy truck/diesel mechanic experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with diagnostic tools and software
  • Valid Driver’s License;
    Class B CDL preferred (or obtain within 90 days)
  • Welding experience (MIG) preferred
  • Solid understanding of DOT, OSHA, and vehicle safety standards
  • Ability to read and apply service and technical documentation
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Own basic mechanic tool set
