We are looking for someone that has the desire to produce an outstanding product, understand how to safely make decisions and how to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Maintains High Level of Quality Work- Ensures that each job is completed according to plan
- Ensures that materials for jobs are organized and maintained to avoid of any possible issues
- Ensures that the job site is well maintained left in an acceptable condition at the end of the day
- Ensures work vehicle is kept clean and organized
- With the right person this position will be a lead within 6 months
- Operates with sense of urgency to minimize wasted time
- Uses care when handling product to minimize damage
- Keeps equipment organized to facilitate job performance
- Communicates with customers to insure that they are satisfied with their product
- Communicates with supervisors to ensure understanding of the job plan and to report any issues
- Also communicates with the apprentices to teach work ethic leadership
Minimum Qualifications that include but are not limited to the following :
- Ability to install steel and aluminum structures, fabric awning, mechanical curtain systems, retractable awnings
- Knowledge in reading a tape measure
- Basic math
- Knowledge in the use of basic hand and power tools
- Ability to take direction and clearly communicate with coworkers
- Excellent time management skill, proper planning and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to willingly take responsibility accountability
- Ability to set priorities and use good judgment
- Ability to work at heights on ladders
- Must have driver’s license
- Clean driving record and background check
- Frequent climbing ladders
- Frequent physical demands, includes bending, stooping, pulling, climbing and reaching
- Frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds
- Team lifting of greater than 70 pounds
- Exposure to weather conditions
