WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Receive and write orders from customers over the phone providing pricing, product, and delivery information
  • Service customers at the walk‑in counter who may need information or product
  • Field phone and in‑person inquiries providing pricing/quotes from established price books/lists and product information
  • Coordinate orders with yard personnel
  • Assist customers
  • Communicate order information and status to appropriate Account Managers
  • Participate in physical inventory
  • Maintain product knowledge
  • Perform other work‑related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur throughout the course of employment

WHAT YOU

NEED TO HAVE :
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree or corresponding industry experience
  • Must have experience in the lumber industry in some capacity
  • Must demonstrate our company values
  • Ability to multitask and have multiple projects going simultaneously, while maintaining high quality
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage commitment of customers and team members
  • Must be goal oriented
  • Must be adaptable
  • Must be collaborative and provide innovative solution
  • Knowledge of the industry, the company, and the products and services we deliver
  • Ability to drive and be accountable for results in a fast‑paced environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
