Overview
Announcement is in conjunction with the JBLM NAF HR Office Job Fair at the Eagles Pride Golf Course in Dupont, WA, on Tuesday, 03 February, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This position is located at American Lake Conference Center.
Incentives and Bonuses- Incentives will not be paid.
- Leads the work of Food and Beverage attendants in the preparation of fast food. Sets pace, demonstrates proper work methods, conducts on-the-job training, and communicates work assignments to the workers being lead.
- Checks work in progress. Ensures that safety, security, and good housekeeping rules are followed. Insures that needed supplies and materials are available. Answers workers' questions regarding procedures, policies, and instructions.
- Provides information to supervisor on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall operations.
- Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons, and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Sets up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold food and beverages. Prepares fruit and vegetable salads, portions out food. Checks food during cooking to prevent overcooking. Prepares sandwiches and box lunches.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.
2 to include a medical examination. - Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Physical effort involves standing and walking for longer periods. Frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds.
- Working conditions include exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, exposed to cuts, burns, and danger of slipping on wet floors.
- Must meet state/local age requirements at time of appointment for use of appliances, ovens, stoves, other common kitchen equipment (18 years of age).
- Must be able to work a schedule that includes working nights, weekends and possible holidays.
