Travel RN - Emergency Dept - Pediatric ED

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric ED RN with triage and trauma experience for a 13-week travel contract at a children's hospital in Washington state.

Job Details

• Pediatric Emergency Department setting within a children's hospital,

• 35-bed unit (21 ED beds plus fast track and surgical suite on the 3rd floor),

• General pediatric ED patients including mental health and trauma cases,

• Standard acuity nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3; lower acuity ratio of 1:6,

• Tech-to-patient ratio of 1:8 with 24/7 support staff,

• 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week,

• Epic EMR in use,

Job Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI or MOAB,

• Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric ED experience,

• At least 6 months of triage and trauma experience required,

• Experience with general pediatric ED care and mental health patients required,

• Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) required prior to start; one reference accepted for initial consideration,
