The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an ideal role for those looking to work with an interdisciplinary team to provide high quality patient care in the ambulatory setting.

** Responsibilities
* ** Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient
* Performs patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards
* Utilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses
* Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
* Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship
* Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
* Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
** Requirements
* ** Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
* Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
* Current basic life support certification (BLS)
* Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferred
