Job Summary
The Interventional Radiology department at our Tacoma, WA location is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team. The IR‑RN is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating the delivery of patient care. The RN is directly accountable for the quality of care provided to patients and has the authority to direct care, provide education, seek resources at the department level, and delegate appropriate tasks.
Using specialized knowledge, the RN can perform administration, supervision, delegation, and evaluation of nursing practice. The position requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill, based on biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences, including critical thinking for patient care decisions. The RN maintains continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families or significant others, community agencies, patient care staff, and management.
$42.78 – $75.88 per hour based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities. As a per diem position, this role is also eligible for a +15% "in lieu of benefits" hourly bonus.

Schedule10‑hour shifts on a per diem basis. Per Diem employees are expected to work a minimum of 2 shifts or 16 hours per month.

Essential Job Functions Identify Patient/Family Needs- Explain procedural process (who, what, why, & how long). This can be started as a pre‑procedure phone call prior to the day of the exam.
