ARNP - Psychiatric Inpatient Per diem

We are hiring per diem weekday inpatient Psychiatric ARNPs to join our inpatient team. This position is Monday – Friday in person.

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.

What We Require:

• Completion of a master’s/post-master’s/doctorate from an NP adult or family psychiatric and mental health program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education in Nursing or an equivalent body.

• Current Washington state license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Current Washington state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Current valid DEA license

Current Basic Life Support card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Must have one year inpatient psychiatric experience as an ARNP.

• Demonstration of successful training, experience and competency in the provision of general and acute adult psychiatric care, treatment and services. Experience/training and competency must correlate to the privileges requested.

This job is responsible for providing high quality, efficient and effective specialized psychiatric care that is evidence based and trauma-informed, in accordance with Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital standards and guidelines, as well as with applicable statutory requirements and accepted clinical practices for the medical profession of psychiatry as well as the profession of advanced practice nursing. An incumbent is engaged in admitting, attending, discharging and consulting on patients following established protocols as determined by Wellfound BHH medical governance, bylaws, and privileges, especially as applicable to Allied Health Professionals.

Work includes providing direct patient care that respects the patient’s unique values and needs by examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient’s total health condition and developing short- and long-term treatment goals and plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and with each patient and/or their care designee(s).

• Daily weekday Rate: $650 with required productivity
• Weekends rate: $1350 per weekend day with required productivity
