Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Evaluate and admit patients to our hospice services, ensuring professional standards and regulatory requirements are met.
• Respond to urgent client calls, assessing symptom‑management needs and coordinating timely interventions.
• Offer essential end‑of‑life education, addressing the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of our clients and their families.
• Apply your nursing expertise to assess situations over the phone, collaborate with physicians, and address urgent clinical issues.
• Leverage strong communication skills to gather information and provide clear instructions during triage.
• Exercise a high degree of independent judgment, supported by academic and clinical preparation.

Job Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Two years of related nursing work experience in an acute clinical care setting demonstrating requisite job knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience in at least one of the following specialties:
  Oncology, Med/Surg, Nutrition Support, Pediatrics, IV Therapy, Gerontology, or Home Health.
• Current licensure as an RN by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.

Pay Range: $44.41 – $68.88 per hour
