Hybrid Clinic Triage RN

Overview

Registered Nurse – Hybrid at Cardiac Study Center, Tacoma, WA. We are offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

As a Registered Nurse at our cardiology outpatient clinic, you will assess and educate patients on cardiac health, perform telephone triage, provide emergency assistance, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. This role blends clinical excellence with compassionate patient interaction in a dynamic environment.

• Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs, prioritize calls based on urgency, and respond promptly to emergent, urgent, and non-urgent inquiries.
• Develop and deliver individualized patient education programs focused on diagnosis, procedures, and treatment plans to enhance patient understanding and care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and the highest standards of patient care.
• Serve as a cardiac health resource and educator for office staff and the broader community, promoting awareness and understanding.
• Monitor and manage abnormal test results, facilitating appropriate referrals and follow-ups while maintaining meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.

This role is full-time, Monday – Friday; weekends and holidays are closed.

Must-Haves

• Educational Background:
  Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensing:
  Active Washington Registered Nurse License at the time of hire.
• Certification:
  National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, obtained before starting.
• Experience:
  
  Ideally at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Pay range: $39.00 – $60.03 USD per hour. Salary is influenced by factors such as skill, experience, and certifications. Sign-on/relocation bonuses are limited to qualified external candidates.
