Locum Physician Assistant or NP - CT Surgery

Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Near Seattle, Washington / CT Surgery APP Locum

Join a highly respected cardiothoracic surgery service just 45 minutes from Seattle, where you’ll step into an established, high-volume program providing complex cardiac and thoracic care. This locum assignment offers true first-assist OR experience, robust surgical volume, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced, collaborative team.

• Assignment Dates: ASAP start pending credentialing (ongoing need due to staff retirement)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 7a–3p, plus weekday call and 1:4 weekend call
• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery service
• OR first-assist on cardiac and thoracic cases
• Case volume: 6–8 cardiac cases and 9–12 thoracic cases weekly
• Mix of CABG, valve surgery, aortic reconstruction, robotic thoracic, VATS, and minimally invasive procedures
• ICU and step-down management, daily rounds, and discharges
• Support from 5 surgeons, experienced APP team, and RN staff
• EMR:
  Epic
• Travel: Paid travel and expenses

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or PA-C
• Washington Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed (IMLC considered)
• Minimum 3 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience
• Strong robotic-assisted thoracic surgery experience required
• Comfortable with call,
  ICU care, and complex inpatient cases
