Must be a senior, 55 and older, OR be 18 and older with a disability AND meet income guidelines. For individual or household: $4000.00/month maximum AFTER deductions. Call for information on what can be deducted from the income.
Call Access Pierce to complete a transportation intake. Once application is submitted, client will receive a call from Volunteer Services to provide approval/denial of transportation services. Volunteer Services will mail the client some documents to sign and return. Volunteer Services will inform client how to schedule rides.

Provides volunteers who can assist with door‑thru‑door transportation for low‑income seniors, 55 and older, or adults with disabilities. Transportation is provided by screened and trained volunteer drivers in their personal vehicle. Rides must originate in Pierce County. Rides depend on volunteer availability. Volunteer Services can provide rides for:
- COVID-19 Vaccines
- Medical Appointments
- Grocery Shopping
- Meal Sites
- Foodbank (Notate if clients are currently signed up and actively going to a particular food bank)
- Prescription Pick Up
- Dialysis – Limited
- Pet Care Appointments
- Senior Centers
- Bank
- Church
- YMCA
- Stores
